Winter Events

Another year of few updates, but I’ve been busy. I’ve loved working on so many wedding rings this year and having so many couples come to visit the studio. The studio is still very much a work in progress… despite getting the keys in February!

I’m taking on less custom work while I get ready for some shows this winter. I’m just hoping I manage to finish the pieces I’d like to make…

First up is Handmade Chelsea from the 6th-9th November. I have shown there once before all the way back in 2015. I was selected for a Goldsmiths’ Fair graduate bursary that year, and decided to use the money I saved on the stand for Goldsmiths’ to try out another show right after it. I miss that Rhona’s energy! It’ll be great to be back at Chelsea Old Town Hall, though it really doesn’t feel like it was 9 years ago since the last time. I will have a small amount of invites so if you would like to visit do send me an email and I can send one over to you. Otherwise there are currently early bird tickets still available on the Handmade in Britain website. I’ll link everything at the bottom.

I’m also going to be exhibiting at MADE Brighton from the 28th November to 1st December. Technically it’s my second time showing my work here as I had some pieces in a group stand back in 2013 (!!!) however by the time the show came around I had gone back to Edinburgh College of Art for my masters so my lovely friends Bekki and Kirsty went to the show. I’ve never been to Brighton before so I’m really excited about this one.

Once I am back from Brighton I will be straight into the last minute Christmas rush. I’ll do my best to get all pieces made for the shows up on my website and will be able to welcome visitors to the studio by appointment if you’d like to view any that are still available in December.

Anyway, I’ve got the last few of this year’s wedding rings to finish, and plenty of stock to make so I’m back off to hide away in the studio. If you send me an email and you don’t hear back within a few days please do give me a nudge because I am but one slightly forgetful jeweller trying to do everything.

Thanks as always for your support!

Rhona x
