Reuse unworn or inherited gold in your wedding and commitment rings

I am often asked if I can use gold that my customers no longer wear or have inherited from a loved one to make their wedding rings. It’s always an honour to be given the important task of using these sentimental pieces to create something truly special for you.

Please be aware that this is a labour intensive process and the cost rarely comes under the prices of my Made to Order pieces.

Remodels typically start at around £500 for a wedding ring, depending on the design, plus any additional gold required.

If you have gold that is not as sentimental, it is possible to still recycle this metal, giving you a credit towards the cost of a Made to Order ring.

If you would like to discuss having rings made using your own gold, please send an email to rhona@rhonamccallum.com.

K&C Custom Wedding Rings

A custom version of my Marble textured ring.

K&C had an inherited 18ct yellow gold ring, but preferred the colour of 18ct white gold. After exploring a few options we decided it would be nice to combine the two colours, using the small amount of yellow gold on the edge of each ring.
