2025 so far

A 9ct yellow gold 3mm width textured wedding ring, and a 9ct rose gold 2mm width wedding ring sitting on a grey rock with on a rocky beach

It’s been an interesting start to the year! I’m busy in the studio working on ring orders for upcoming weddings, as well as a few bespoke pieces. I haven’t posted anything other than stories on Instagram for 9 months (just checked), so it’s really encouraging to still have people booking in to come to my studio for wedding ring appointments when I am so awful at updates.

I’ve got a big deadline coming up that I’ll share a bit more about later, but at the moment I’m working on some new pieces and feeling ever so slightly terrified. It’s a really exciting opportunity, and I’m desperate to make the most of it. So I’m hoping for less time worrying, more time making over the next few weeks! Wish me luck.

I took this photo on a lovely little trip to Pitlochry last week with Jonny. I’m a nightmare to go for walks with, because I’ll always stop and photograph textures on rocks and trees, or pull some rings out my pocket to take pictures of on a nice rock by the river. What you can’t see in this picture, is the person who has just bungee jumped off the bridge a little further along. We enjoyed the shrieks and laughter as we walked past, but I will absolutely not be bungee jumping ever. (If you are much braver than me, check out Highland Fling)

Anyway, hello. And I hope you’ve had a good start to the year. And if you’d like to visit me at the Briggait then you can book a time here. I’m taking on less bespoke work this year but expanding the collection of rings I currently offer, and I’m looking forward to sharing these new designs when they are ready.
